ThDar And Decor LLC ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") operates the DarwDecor website and ships handcrafted zellige furniture worldwide. This Shipping Policy outlines how we handle the delivery of your orders.

IMPORTANT: Please read this entire policy before placing an order. Our furniture is handcrafted and ships from Morocco. Delivery timelines are longer than mass-produced items.

FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING:

All orders placed through DarwDecor include FREE shipping to over 190 countries. You will not be charged any additional shipping fees at checkout or upon delivery.

CRITICAL TIMELINE - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

This is not fast furniture. Our zellige tables and custom pieces are handcrafted by master artisans in Fez and Marrakech, Morocco. You must understand and accept the full timeline before purchasing.

MANUFACTURING LEAD TIME (CRITICAL):

Before your zellige table or furniture is shipped, it must be handcrafted by our master artisans. This is non-negotiable and is the core of what makes our pieces unique and valuable.

Design Consultation and Approval: 3-5 days

Hand-Chipping and Assembly of Zellige Tiles: 2-3 weeks

Quality Control and Finishing: 3-5 days

TOTAL MANUFACTURING TIME: 3-5 WEEKS

This is the time required to create your piece. It cannot be rushed. Each tile is hand-cut individually. Each piece is unique. This wait is part of what you are paying for.

INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT SHIPPING (CRITICAL):

Once manufacturing is complete, your furniture must be shipped internationally from Morocco to your location. This is not standard parcel shipping. Heavy zellige tables require freight carriers.

Estimated International Transit Times by Region:

USA and Canada: 2-4 weeks after manufacturing completion

Europe: 1-3 weeks after manufacturing completion

Asia and Australia: 3-5 weeks after manufacturing completion

Rest of World: 2-4 weeks after manufacturing completion

TOTAL DELIVERY TIMELINE: 5-9 WEEKS FROM ORDER DATE

Example Timeline:

- Week 1: Order placed, design consultation

- Weeks 2-4: Manufacturing (hand-chipping zellige tiles)

- Week 5: Quality control and crating

- Weeks 6-9: International freight shipping

- Week 9: Delivery to your address

PLEASE ALLOW 2-3 MONTHS FOR COMPLETE DELIVERY.

WHAT THIS MEANS:

If you place an order today, your furniture will likely not arrive for 6-9 weeks. This is normal for handcrafted international furniture. If you need furniture urgently, this is not the right product for you.

PAYMENT PROCESSING & CHARGEBACK PROTECTION:

We require full payment upfront because of the long manufacturing timeline. Your payment secures your order and begins the handcrafting process. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the 3-5 week manufacturing period and the additional 2-4 week international shipping window.

Chargebacks for "Item Not Received" filed before 8-10 weeks have passed will result in a dispute resolution process. We maintain production photographs and shipping documentation to prove the authenticity of your order and the manufacturing/shipping process.

PRODUCTION UPDATES:

To provide transparency during the long wait, you will receive:

- Order confirmation email within 24 hours

- Production start confirmation within 3-5 days

- Production progress photographs weekly during weeks 2-4

- Quality control completion notice at week 5

- Shipping notification with tracking number at week 5-6

PACKAGING & PROTECTION:

Heavy zellige furniture requires serious protection:

- Professional wooden crates designed for international shipping

- High-density protective foam padding throughout

- Moisture and humidity protection (critical for Moroccan clay)

- Double-boxed for extra security during long transit

- Fragile handling labels and shipping instructions

- Full insurance coverage for the entire value

Your table is packed as if we are shipping it to ourselves. It is protected.

TRACKING & REAL-TIME UPDATES:

Upon shipment, you will receive:

- Full tracking number via email

- Real-time delivery status updates from carrier

- Estimated delivery window (typically 2-4 week range)

- Carrier contact information for direct communication

- Direct access to track your shipment 24/7

CUSTOMS, DUTIES & IMPORT TAXES (CRITICAL):

International orders are subject to:

- Customs clearance fees

- Import duties and tariffs

- Local handling charges

- VAT or sales tax (depending on your country)

These charges, if applicable, are the responsibility of the recipient and vary significantly by country. You may be required to pay these fees upon delivery or during customs clearance. We recommend checking with your local customs office BEFORE purchasing to understand potential costs.

DELIVERY SIGNATURE & HANDLING:

When your zellige furniture arrives:

- Signature may be required upon delivery (due to high value)

- Professional delivery carrier will contact you to arrange delivery window

- You have the right to inspect the package before signing

- Professional photographs of delivery and condition will be taken

- You will receive delivery confirmation documentation

DAMAGE DURING INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

In the rare event that your zellige furniture arrives damaged:

1. DO NOT accept delivery or sign for damaged goods

2. Take clear photographs of all damage (exterior and interior)

3. Contact us IMMEDIATELY at youssef.kabli@darwdecor.com

4. Include your order number, tracking number, and delivery photos

5. We will immediately file a freight claim with the carrier

Resolution for Damaged Items:

- Full 100% refund of your purchase (minus duties/taxes paid if they cannot be recovered), OR

- Replacement piece manufactured and shipped at no cost

All return shipping and replacement manufacturing costs are covered by Dar And Decor LLC.

We stand behind our products. Damage is rare but we handle it immediately.

DELAYS OR LOST SHIPMENTS:

We work with reputable international freight carriers. In the unlikely event of a shipment delay or loss:

1. We investigate immediately with the carrier

2. We keep you informed of status weekly

3. If the shipment cannot be located within 60 days, we provide either a full refund or replacement

4. All costs related to resolving the issue are covered by Dar And Decor LLC

WHAT YOU ARE BUYING:

You are not buying mass-produced furniture shipped from a warehouse.

You are buying handcrafted artisanal pieces made by master artisans.

You are accepting a longer timeline in exchange for authenticity and quality.

You are supporting traditional Moroccan craftsmanship.

The wait is part of the value.

CANNOT CANCEL AFTER PRODUCTION BEGINS:

Once manufacturing begins (typically within 3-5 days), cancellation is not available. You must understand this before placing your order.
